My mixed media paintings are a combination of collage, acrylic and pastels. The process is informed by the way I see the world, through a lens of the real and the imaginary. Animals, nature, bold color and texture find their way into my expressive and whimsical paintings. Each piece is the culmination of an exciting journey for me that begins with a loose plan until the paint and paper take over and lead and guide me to unexpected places.
